great ice cream spot that has lasted for quite a while. they have a lot of custom flavors that cater to all tastes. the corn flavor, cookie monster, peach, are a few unique ones. sesame one is pretty good too. they are cash only so come prepared or you will have to run across the way to chase or wells fargo

Awesome homemade ice cream, great staff, wonderful outdoor atmosphere with relaxing chairs. Coffee donuts and Uncle Buddy cookies were our favorites.

The mocha almond fudge is the best ice cream I've ever had. I usually avoid rush hour at Fosselman's to avoid the line, but always will be my go-to ice cream spot.

This place is an OG ice cream shop. Lots of old traditional flavors, as well as new fun flavors. Ice cream made fresh daily at the shop. Definitely still one of the best around even with lots of new ice cream shops popping up. Must visit if you are ever in Alhambra.

Fosselman's Ice Cream Co. is one of my most favorite creameries in the bay, have tried their food, sundaes, and shakes. On my last visit, I got their Swiss Chocolate Milkshake which was AMAZING. You would get little bits of chocolate that would slowly melt in your mouth! Will definitely return for that flavor.

The chamango is what has the fresh mango in it, otherwise it's just mango sorbet. Chamango was so good!!! My mom also loved it!

I love this place, my parents have been taking me here since I was a kid. This place is great! Nice family feel to it and the ice cream is delicious. They have been around forever. My favorite ice cream here is the pistachio .

The dude helping me taste almost everything was really nice.My favorite flavors are coffee chip and cookie monsta. Unicorn magic is pretty and photogenic, but has no distinct flavor. I think the main flavor is vanilla, so if you like vanilla then you'll like it!

Service always excellent, but quality and texture of ice cream have declined.

Love going to this place. They just did a remodel of the place, they are celebrating 100 years in the business. They have seasonal flavors and they are constantly making new flavors to meet the needs of the growing diversity in the area. What I mean is you can find horchata, green tea, or Guinness, if you want to be adventurous or if you just want good old fashioned vanilla they have that too. They have a variety of sorbets on the menu and just added soft serve as well. You have many choices here from sundaes to just a scoop of ice cream, whatever you fancy they have. I particularly enjoy their fruit flavors they are quite refreshing.

I love getting the fried ice cream but sometimes it can feel too heavy. More than anything I think the ice cream is fantastic and also comes at a very reasonable price point.

We had 5 different flavors with waffle corns. Not the best ice creams we’ve had, but we liked authentic atmosphere and flavors, and it’s amazing they keep running business 100 years! Portions were generous, 2 scoops ice cream made me so full.

The dark chocolate Chunk ice-cream was really good! Very creamy and sweet.

A good variety of flavors. They let you sample three flavors. I ended up with the coffee cookie one. Overall good ice cream. Less creamy consistency and more smooth so it won't melt as fast. The setting is brightly lit with old-timey decor. Three cones with three single scoops came out to $9.75. To be honest Thrifty Rite Aid ice cream is just as good and you get bigger scoops. But we came here as an after dinner stop so we are paying for the setting? It's cash only, luckily there's a Wells Fargo next door. If you wanna be thrifty go to Rite Aid. If you want funky flavors and a place to sit around pay extra here. They also sell candy.

This place is over hyped, the ice cream we ordered was icy, which lost some of its creamy texture. Due to all the high ratings, I thought it would be amazing. Apart from the ice chunks, it was good, staff were very friendly, and the place was packed. There is a very tiny parking, depending on how busy they are, it might be tough to find.

The best ice cream anywhere. My favorite is the mango and the coconut. I buy the containers two at a time. I stock up every time my family comes for a visit, they love it too.

I love going to fosselman's I always get the half gallon tubs to bring to the house this last time we bought 4 them I just love eating ice cream and this place is just awesome. You're not allowed to eat them there because of the virus that's why we took the tubs home it's nothing like eating ice cream at the house

When travelling we always try to find local homemade ice cream. This place did not disappoint. We tried 4 different flavors all of which were delicious. The best by far though was the cherry vanilla chocolate chunk.

A classic! Not exactly in our backyard, but so much worth the drive!They have seasonal ice creams like Horchata or pumpkin spice as well as traditional flavors. My husband was over the moon that we found his favorite Rum Raisin!!

I must say I was very excited about trying this ice cream place, based on reviews and word of mouth. However, I was highly disappointed, the ice-cream was tasteless, the waffle cones are not freshly made, the scoops are tiny and they don't take credit cards. I had the Taro and my husband the pistachio, and we both couldn't believe how over-rated this place is. We visit many ice-cream shops, so once you try good creamy ice cream you know what's good, and this place is far from it. The good thing is, that even though it was busy, the staff is pretty good in getting people in and out, so no complaints there. But for the price and taste you rather go to a local store and get some Tillamook ice cream and pre-packaged waffle cones. Or just drive to Creamistry. (for some reason my husband's ice cream was much smaller than mine)

This ice cream here is AMAZING!! It was busy today (Sunday evening) but the line moved quickly. I got a scoop of the coffee and cookies, my husband got Nutella, my mom got pumpkin, my cousin got chocolate and my kiddo got strawberry sorbet. There are so many options,it is hard to pick just one! We all really enjoyed our ice cream/ sorbet. I was so happy there are many options for my kiddo who is dairy free. So many times there's only 1 or 2 options for dairy free but there were about 5-6 options for him. I'm excited that there is a place we can all enjoy a dessert together as a family.

Mangos, straberries and ice cream :) Even on a cold California day this was a really nice spot to stop and relax. No frills. The place is small and unfortunately we didn't find seating (an outdoor patio would be awesome but they don't have the space).

Their ice cream is amazing. It's a great family restaurant and I loved their lime sorbet. Lots of flavors. Lots of candy. Great staff who joked around and we're super fun and friendly. Me and my family had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this for a great ice cream experience.

This place has amazing ice cream. I came with a friend and we shared ice cream Sunday. We had to wait to be seated due to being packed cause it was the weekend. We were seated so fast, didn't have to wait long at all. We shared an ice cream Sunday and I must say it hit the spot. Great place for dessert.

The ice cream is great. I had the Nutella and sampled a few others. They are all fantastic, except for the banana flavor. It tastes like if a person who has never tasted banana were asked to make a banana flavored ice cream. Also, they are a cash only business. It's almost 2020!

This Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor in Alhambra is a winner. When prices are fair, the portions are decent and the ice cream is delicious. Usually, there is a wide variety of flavors. There are free tastes help you decide, but nobody would fault you if you just said I'll take one of each. Try the side by side double scoop for an unusual treat.

Great place for nostalgia and one of the best places for ice cream

We came here to pick up a birthday cake and I have to say the ice cream is the real star, the cake was mediocre but the ice cream is so good I can overlook the mediocrity of the cake and still give 5 stars. They have a great selection of flavors and I always appreciate unique flavors like lychee. The best part about the ice cream is it still has a texture similar to the old fashioned rock salt churn which is hard to find these days. The old parlor feel adds to the nostalgia.
